CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Your appointments are important to us and we understand that your time is valuable.

Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. If you don't arrive for your appointment, and you haven't given us 24 hours' notice, you'll be charged a $80 cancellation fee, payable on your next visit.

 

Please understand that when you forget to cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

 

As a courtesy, we text/email and confirm your appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment.

REFUND/COMPLAINT POLICY - IN STORE

At FMK Hair Design we understand that each person has an individual style and we are committed to helping our clients to express that style. We firmly believe based on our extensive education and experience that we offer the best service and products available in the industry.

​

Our stylists undergo high level training and as individuals, strive to achieve the best results and deliver the best service they can to our valued clients. If for any reason you are unhappy with the service you receive, please feel free to contact us.

​

For any complaints regarding any service, please contact the salon within 2 weeks after your service. We will take serious note of your complaint, then ask you to kindly come back at a convenient time for both yourself and our store manager to assess and rectify the problem. Please note we cannot take responsibility for any unsatisfactory results if our recommended protocols have not been taken into consideration in terms of after-care.

REFUNDS & RETURNS - ONLINE STORE

FMK Hair Design holds the right to alter its policies relating to the return and refund of Goods at any time without any notice. The liability of FMK for any loss, damage or injuries arising directly or indirectly from one of our Goods or for the non-compliance of any of our Goods or for any other reason shall not in any event exceed an amount equivalent to the price of the product. Return courier fees are the responsibility of the customer returning the Goods.

FMK is not able to accept returns of Goods if you have changed your mind about your purchase or would like a different version of the same Good so please choose carefully.

​

Also FMK can not be responsible for minor differences in how Goods featured on our website may appear on your computer depending on the web browser you are using and the settings of your computer. You should ensure that you read the description of the Goods on the fmk.co.nz website thoroughly before placing an Order as FMK can also not accept the return of Goods due to such technical issues.

Please choose carefully as no refunds will be made for any other reason than damage. If the Goods that are delivered to you are faulty, defective or not what you ordered we will upon the return of such Goods, replace such Goods provided that such Goods are available or if such Goods are not available then we can refund you for the purchase price of the Goods. All Goods must be returned to us with all accessories and packaging within three weeks of receiving the Goods with a note giving us the reason for the return otherwise we cannot offer a refund or replacement. Please ensure that these are returned unused and in their original condition (including the packaging and accessories).

IN SALONS PURCHASES

 

We offer the following payment methods at the point of sale in our salons for the purchase of both products and services:

  • Alternatively, Bank Deposit / Transfer is a good option if you do not have a credit card.  Details are provided as part of the transaction.

 

 

PURCHASING PRODUCTS ONLINE

 

We offer the following payment methods at the point of sale on our website fmk.co.nz:

We provide safe and secure credit card processing utilising eWay secure payment facilities utilising Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This means the transaction is secure.

There are no transaction fees added for the purchaser. We do not accept American Express or Diners. If your credit card is declined by your financial institution we will not be able to guarantee delivery on the date or in the delivery window you selected and may contact you to make alternative delivery and payment arrangements.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

​

We ship within New Zealand and to Australia. Overseas orders are only accepted when the delivery address is within New Zealand or Australia.

​

If your order is confirmed and paid for before 11am Monday to Friday, we will aim to ship the same day or else the following day. Orders received after 11am will be shipped within the next two business days provided the item is in stock – we will notify you if there is going to be a delay. Orders received on the weekend will be shipped within two business days. 

 

All orders to a non-rural address can expect delivery in one to two days after receiving shipping confirmation, this is not guaranteed however, and we do encourage you to contact us if your order is required in a short timeframe.

 

Orders to an Australian address can expect delivery five to 14 days after receiving shipping confirmation.

GENERAL TRADING TERMS & CONDITIONS

We do our best to make the information on this website as accurate as we can, however FMK will not be liable for any inaccuracies in the information contained within this website.

Property and risk in the Goods passes to You upon delivery and payment of the Goods to the Delivery Address. If the Customer doesn’t sign for delivery of the Goods, the Goods will be left at the delivery address and be deemed delivered at that time of day. We do not deliver to Post Office Boxes. he customer will be responsible to supply FMK with delivery instructions such as Don’t leave at front door or Signature required etc. We instruct our courier drivers to drop off the Goods at the delivery address if no instructions were given by the customer to do otherwise, the property and risk in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery to the customer’s delivery address. “Goods” means Goods described in an Order and includes packaging.

Reliance upon any information and material on this website shall be at your sole risk. FMK assumes no responsibility for any errors, and is not liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the use of, or reliance on, the information and material contained on this site or on any third party web site linked to this site.
